City Councilmember Natalyn Archibong Hosts 18th Annual Senior Services Seminar

Free seminar to help District 5 seniors save money and obtain services they need and deserve

 

ATLANTA –  Atlanta City Councilmember Natalyn Archibong will host the 18th annual Focus Upon Senior Services (F.U.S.S.) from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2nd at Drew Charter School, 301 Eva Davis Way, S.E.  

The free annual seminar informs District 5 seniors about government services and money-saving discounts.  The free seminar is for senior citizens in East Atlanta, Kirkwood, East Lake, Lake Claire, Edgewood, Reynoldstown, Cabbagetown, North Ormewood Park, and portions of Old Fourth Ward and all other seniors living in Council District 5.

 

Various city departments, county offices, and senior-based agencies will answer questions, give advice, and make suggestions.  The event includes representatives from the Department of Public Works, Department of Watershed Management, Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, Atlanta Police Department’s Zone 6; Senior Connections; AARP; the District 4 Fulton County Commissioner’s Office; the District 5 Fulton County Commissioner’s Office; the District 3 DeKalb County Commissioner’s Office; DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office; DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office; Atlanta Housing; Centers for Medicare; Georgia Power; Kaiser Permanente; Neighbor-in-Need; MARTA and many, many more!
