CHOMP AND STOMP is November 8, 2008

It's that time of year again! Cabbagetown's 6th annual CHOMP AND STOMP chili cook-off and bluegrass festival, and 3rd annual ROMP AND STOMP 5k Run is almost here. Read more to find out how you can participate.

 BECOME A SPONSOR

 

Sponsors are an integral part of making this festival a success. All proceeds go towards the maintenance of the Cabbagetown Park and Community Center. The Cabbagetown Initiative Community Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) organization so all donations are tax-deductible.

 

Gold Sponsor (8 available)
A Gold Sponsorship costs $1000.00 and includes:
      Logo on commemorative plastic beer cup

      Logo/click ad on cabbagetown.com for 1 year
      Logo on event posters

      Logo on race t-shirt
      Four additional chili tasting passes

      All Bronze Sponsor opportunities

The deadline to reserve a Gold Sponsorship is September 15.

 
Silver Sponsor
A Silver Sponsorship costs $500.00 and includes:
      Name on event posters

      Name on race t-shirt
      Two additional chili tasting passes

      All Bronze sponsor opportunities

The deadline to reserve a Silver Sponsorship is October 1.
  
Bronze Sponsor
A Bronze Sponsorship costs $150.00 and includes:                 
      Item such as coupon or trinket in race goodie bag (business must provide 500 items)
      Business name listing on cabbagetown.com

      Business name listing in November issue of Cabbagetown newsletter
      One promotional table or tent at the event (business must provide)

      Name announced on PA system during event
      Two chili tasting passes

The deadline to reserve a Bronze Sponsorship is November 1.

 

 

To become a sponsor send an email with "Sponsor Info" as the subject to chompandstomp@gmail.com with your Business Name, Contact Name, Phone Number and the sponsor level you are interested in.

BECOME A CONCESSION VENDOR

The fee to sell concessions at the festival is $300. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own table or tent and other supplies to the event. We will provide electricity. If you would also like to be both a concession vendor and an event Sponsor, we will give you a $100 discount on your sponsor donation.

 

To become a concession vendor send an email with "Vendor Info" as the subject to chompandstomp@gmail.com with your Business Name, Contact Name and Phone Number.

 

 

BECOME AN ART VENDOR

 

The fee to set up an artist booth at the festival is $45. Artists are responsible for bringing their own table or tent and other supplies to the event.

 

To become an art vendor send an email with "Artist Info" as the subject to chompandstomp@gmail.com with your Name and Phone Number.

 

 

BECOME A CHILI COOK-OFF CONTESTANT

 

There are two contests at the Chili Cook-off: one for restaurants and one for individuals.

 

Restaurant Competition

 

Restaurants are asked to supply at least 10 gallons of chili on the day of the event. The contest is judged by the festival goers as each person who buys a ticket to the chili cook-off is given a ballot to vote for the best restaurant chili. The prize is the satisfaction of having made the best tasting chili -- and bragging rights.

 

All restaurant competitors automatically receive the benefits of a Bronze Sponsorship -- for free!

 

To become a restaurant competitor send an email with "Restaurant Chili" as the subect to chompandstomp@gmail.com with your Business Name, Contact Name and Phone Number.

 

Individual Competition

 

Individuals are asked to supply at least 2 gallons of chili. The price to enter is $35 for one chili and $50 for two chilis. The contest is judged by an elite group of volunteer blind tasters and prizes are awarded to the top 3 entries.
